Fund-raising in Memory of Bodie Hodges

In August we wrote of the tragic loss of Bodie Hodges, the 10 month old son of a Nick Hodges (former employee of Warren Board who left to fulfil his ambition to become a P.E. teacher) and the plans for a fund-raising event in memory of Bodie. We're delighted to be able to update you on the total raised for Rainbows Children's Hospice and we thought it was best to let Nick tell you in his own words, how the day went.

Jan Forsberg returns from his epic cycle ride through the Alps

In August we posted news of Jan Forsberg's cycle challenge through the Alps in aid of Help for Heroes, and we're delighted to report that Jan and his fellow riders raised a whopping £325,000 and he arrived back home safely.

A family affair

Our Warehouse Operative Mike McCarthy began his interest in the Sealed Knot organisation over 25 years ago after two school friends joined as part of a CSE project they were involved in. Mike was persuaded to go along to an event and for support he took his friend Owen, the local farmer's son and so began a life-long passion for battle re-enactments from the English Civil war.

Sensory Packaging created with Korsnäs White

We recently supplied carton specialist The Castle Colour Press with Korsnäs White, 480 micron cartonboard for use in their new 'Sensory Packaging' which will be unveiled at the Packaging Innovations London 2012 event. The wonderfully tactile textured cartons will be promoted on stand number D14 in the Business Design Centre and as Sales Director Brian Blackshaw explained, "Consumers don't use just their eyes when making purchasing decisions, they use the sense of touch too.
